Business Vision LIVE postponed until further notice
The south East’s largest business expo will no longer take place in 8th May 2024
The organisers of Business Vision LIVE 2024 deeply regret that the event has been postponed until further notice and will no longer take place on 8th May 2024.
Having successfully revitalised this popular annual showcase in 2012, Kent-based organiser Revolution Events has been unable to rebuild the commercial viability of the event since the global pandemic led to its cancellation for two consecutive years. Despite managing to bounce back temporarily in 2022 and 2023, the decision has now been made to postpone the event indefinitely.
“Sadly, the combined impact of Covid and the subsequent economic slowdown have taken their toll on many of the smaller businesses that have always provided the lifeblood of the event,” said Revolution co-founder Nick Litton. “With marketing budgets under intense pressure, many of our customers are having to prioritise their spending on a smaller number of very targeted activities. So whilst our sector-specific events in construction and education are both booming, we just can’t continue to deliver a broader SME event of the quality that our audience has come to expect from us.”
“It has been a genuine honour to showcase Kent’s incredible SME community for the past decade and we would like to thank every single business that has sponsored, exhibited and supported the event over this time – especially Kent County Council, KM Media Group and the Kent Event Centre,” Litton continued. “We are hugely disappointed to be exiting this space as an organiser but hope to be around as a proud and very active member of the local business community for many decades to come.”
Revolution Events would welcome a conversation with any organisation that would be interested in taking forward the legacy of Business Vision LIVE and would love to see the event resurrected in the future. Interested parties should contact Revolution co-founders Nick Litton or Rich Tribe for an informal discussion in the first instance.
