Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, Queen's Award for Enterprise

Jo has worked in Local Government for over 30 years and joined Kent County Council in 2003.  She is the Deputy Clerk to the Lieutenancy where she supports Her Majesty The Queen's representative in the County, the Lord-Lieutenant, in all matters relating to the running of the Lieutenancy.  Jo was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of Kent in 2019 and in 2021, she received her MVO.  Jo supports a number of military charities including The Royal British Legion Industries and the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust
