Regional Account Manager, Energy Saving Trust


Mark started his career working on climate change adaptation projects for Kent County Council, delivering the Coastal Communities 2150 project to help Kent’s communities imagine and adapt to life with climate change. More recently, he worked on the STAR2Cs, FRAMES, H2O Source to Sea projects, and helped develop an adaptation catalyst tool to identify successful pathways to manage climate risks. He then worked as a Climate Change Officer for Wealden District Council, where he developed their emissions reporting methodology and worked on EV chargepoint procurement. At Energy Saving Trust, Mark works on the Local Authority Toolkit for DfT and is part of the Local Government Support Programme. He works with local authorities across the South East to decarbonise transport, improve air quality and increase electric vehicle adoption.

Electric Vehicles - are they a good or bad idea for your business?
 
Through this event we will introduce businesses based across Kent and Medway to electric vehicles, with an overview of the national policy drivers, current vehicle offering and charging technology. This introductory session can then be followed up with more in-depth masterclass style events for specific organisations or network groups.
 
There will also be an opportunity given for SME’s to request a ‘net zero audit’ so that they understand how they might reduce their carbon footprint moving forward. This is part of the UKCRF Net Zero For Change programme.
