Working with clients as an outsourced admin support in 2016, I discovered that many business problems were due to the new GDPR rules.
Clients didn’t have the time to learn or take on an advisor, so I became proficient in it myself, able to offer the peace of mind they needed around privacy and data security.
Scaremongering and misinformation was common but I was able to cut through it all, advise them on what they needed to do, then maintain and monitor their GDPR compliance. I now work as a consultant with clients to offer appraisals, regular or ad-hoc support.
